Some days I want to lift heavy and feel my strength; others, I want to throw on my running shoes and let my thoughts flow freely over the course of a ten mile run. Let’s not forget the overwhelming feeling grounded a hike in the Colorado mountains can provide. Listening to the messages the body sends and having options to address these - day to day and year to year - is the core of smart training and building fitness for life. My training style has evolved over the course of two decades working with clients with various goals. What has remained constant is my philosophy to train and move intentionally and efficiently.  I aim to challenge large muscle groups in various ways that keep the body guessing and developing. I believe in balance within a strength training program, while consistently working on agility, speed, strength and mobility.  Co-founder of Compass Fitness, Denver’s best group fitness gym, I am a certified personal trainer, certified USA Weightlifting coach, 200-hour RYS certified yoga instructor, and hold a BA in Kinesiology. I am also a UESCA certified endurance running coach: I love working with endurance athletes, and offer running and triathlon programs.
