Personal Training + Remote Coaching
I help people build strength, improve body composition, and create a more sustainable approach to training—without feeling like they have to follow a rigid or one-size-fits-all plan. Training should support your life, not compete with it. That means having structure, but also the flexibility to adjust based on your energy, your schedule, and your goals.
My approach to training has been shaped by over two decades of working with clients across a wide range of goals. What’s remained constant is a focus on intentional, efficient movement. I design programs that challenge large muscle groups, build strength and resilience, and incorporate elements of mobility, speed, and agility—creating a well-rounded, adaptable athlete.
A key focus in my work is body recomposition—supporting clients in building lean muscle while reducing body fat through a combination of progressive strength training, appropriate fueling, and consistency over time. This approach moves beyond the scale, with an emphasis on strength, energy, and how you feel in your body day to day.
As a co-founder of Compass Fitness in Denver, I bring a diverse background to my coaching: certified personal trainer, USA Weightlifting coach, 200-hour RYS yoga instructor, BA in Kinesiology, and UESCA-certified endurance coach.
I offer both in-person training in Denver and remote coaching, with two distinct paths depending on your goals:
Remote Personal Training (Strength-Focused): Customized strength training programs, with ongoing guidance, form feedback, and accountability. Designed for those looking to build strength, improve body composition, and train with structure—on their own schedule.
Endurance Coaching: Structured run and triathlon programming for athletes looking to improve performance, build volume safely, and integrate strength training to support longevity in their sport.
Whether you’re training in person or following a program remotely, the goal is the same: to help you move well, train with purpose, and build strength that carries into every aspect of your life.
** I am currently not taking on any new in-person personal training clients at this time - apologies!

"She forces me out of my comfort zone, but somehow tricks me into thinking it is fun!"
I first met Jillian many years ago when I stumbled across one of her fitness classes. I was immediately inspired to keep showing up whenever she was teaching. Jillian brings years of knowledge and training to classes. She never stops trying to better herself, in order to pass this along to her clients. The real reason I have followed Jillian to her home at Compass is Jillian! She is beautiful inside and out and brings that warmth and love with her to every class. Do not be fooled! She will absolutely kick your butt into gear, but she will be wearing that amazing smile the entire time I started doing personal training with Jillian during the pandemic and it is one of the things that I look forward to the most every week. She forces me out of my comfort zone, but somehow tricks me into thinking it is fun! Any day that I wake up and know I will be training or in class with Jillian is automatically a great day.

"In a few weeks I was already seeing improvement in areas where, before, I was having minor injuries or hitting stumbling blocks."
My wife started working out with Jillian ing 2020. Every time she came back from a workout/training session she was grinning from ear to ear, and told me how challenging and fun the training sessions were. We both love a good sweaty workout session, so…obviously, I had to check it out. In a few weeks I was already seeing improvement in areas where, before, I was having minor injuries or hitting stumbling blocks. Jillian’s personality and drive is motivating, uplifting, and inspirational. She’s more than a personal trainer. She actually gives a shit about what we are doing to maintain our health outside of the training sessions as well. On a more personal level: I recently had a two month long health issue that was really depressing me and kicking my ass. I couldn’t work out like I wanted to and Jillian was super supportive and stuck with me through the whole process, tailoring workouts that were still challenging but showing that she understood where I was physically and mentally. On top of the great training, she’s a wonderful human being.
My wife and I still workout with Jillian weekly, six years later.
